Dr. M. Thacker, Consultant Osteomyologist.

Dr. M. Thacker was awarded a Consultantcy in Osteomyology with Merit status at the Graduation Ball in December 2015. This runs along with his Doctorate (with Honours) gained in 2012. Although he is not a Medical Doctor, he is a Doctor of Osteomyology specialising in treating Muscular/Skeletal problems. He is also a Fellow Osteomyologist, who holds a Licentiate and Total Manipulative Skills Diploma in Osteomyology.

He first qualified at the Northern Institute of Massage gaining his Diploma in Remedial Massage in 1994 and then to Higher Grade Diploma in 1997. He then went on to train in Manipulative Therapy to Diploma of Honour (with Distinction).

He is a HCPC Register Physiotherapist and CNHC Registered Sports & Remedial Therapist.

He is also qualified in Electrotherapy, Fitness Rehabilitation Exercises (1 to 1 Training), Sacral/Cranial Adjustments, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Thermal Auricular Therapy, Touch for Health Kinesiology, 3rd Degree Reiki and Crystal Therapy. He also worked as a Sports Therapist at the London Marathon.

He was the Chairman of the National Association of Massage and Manipulative Therapists retiring after 10 years in 2016.

He is currently on the Board of Trustees as Vice Chairman and also in charge of Clinical Excellence for the Tiny Tim Centre in Coventry. 

Dr. Thacker specialises in Neuro-muscular massage. This technique is the fastest way to release muscles that are in spasm. He also uses mobilisations and manipulative techniques to help realign joints into the natural position.

Dr T. Kaye Consultant Osteomyologist.

Dr. Kaye was awarded a Consultancy of Osteomyology in 2013. She gained her Doctorate (with Honours) in 2012. Although she is not a Medical Doctor, she is a Doctor of Osteomyology specialising in treating Muscularskeletal conditions. She is a 'Fellow' in Osteomyologist. She holds a Licentiate and Total Manipulative Skills in Osteomyology.

She qualified in Remedial Massage In 2002 and to Advanced Level in 2004. She continued with her training to the leval of Manipulative Therapy gaining her Honours Diploma in 2006. 

Dr. Kaye has qualifications in a number of modalities including, Electrotherapy, Dry needling, Indian Head Massage and is a 3rd Degree Reiki Master.

She is a HCPC Registered Physiotherapist.

A tutor at the Northern Institute Of Massage.

She also worked as a Masseuse at the London Marathon for over 10 years.

Dr. Kaye specialises in a deep tissue massage, mobilisations and manipulative therapy to relieve muscular skeletal conditions.

The clinic offers patients a combination of therapies to address a number of problems and conditions. Osteomyology describes exactly what we do, we are multi modality practitioners working with bone (joints), muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves, using the appropriate discipline that we are qualified in and are available to us, to bring relief and healing to our patients.

Remedial Massage Neuromuscular Massage, Mobilisation, Manipulative Therapy, Sports Therapy, Electrotherapy, Reiki, Thermo Auricular Therapy, Crystal healing, plus many more are all brought together under the banner of Osteomyology. Osteomyologists are fully qualified in many different complimentary modalities. This means that the practitioners has "many strings to their bow". Obviously there is no such thing as a panacea or "cure all" for every condition, if that was the case then that would be the only modality used and there would be no need for any others. But unfortunately the human body is more complex than that, and what may suit one person may not suit another. With the Osteomyologist having many modalities at their fingertips if one system doesn't work then the practitioner can move seamlessly to another. Unlike some practitioners that study only one form of treatment they may have to refer the patient to someone else.
